Anovulation (not ovulating) is a common cause of infertility and indicates no hormonal imbalance.
Irregular Cycles
Is your cycle 24 days one month and 35 days the next. This is considered an irregular cycle and could be a sign of anovulation.
Cycles Too Long or Too Short
Is your regular but shorter than 20 days or longer than 40?
Lack of Fertile Cervical Mucus
Right before and during ovulation is when you should see the most cervical mucus. It usually looks like raw egg whites. If you do not see this discharge this could be a sign you are not ovulating.
Missing a period
This is another sign of not ovulating. Your period should start 10-14 days after ovulation. Some women do have a period without ovulating.
The best way to know for sure that you are ovulating is to start charting your temperatures each morning.
