Stress, Adrenaline and Your Fertility
When we are stressed adrenaline, the 'fight or flight' hormone is released in the body. It is designed to be used in acute situations, but when we are under constant stress, adrenaline can be released all the time and cause huge problems for your fertility.
Signs that you have excess adrenaline include, being easily angered, anxious, always in a hurry, fatigue, sadness, and wanting to fly away.
Another sign is needing coffee to get going in the morning, and alcohol to relax. Or being unable to sleep without exercise.
When there is an adrenaline imbalance, the body thinks it is facing danger, and as it is so clever, it will think, now is definitely not the right time to have a baby, we need to focus on survival.
Several recent studies have found links between the women’s levels of day-to-day stress and lowered chances of pregnancy. For example, women whose saliva had high levels of alpha-amylase, an enzyme that marks stress, took 29% longer to get pregnant compared to those who had less.
When the body is making excess adrenaline, it draws off the fertility hormones such as estrogen and progesterone, which are essential for a healthy menstrual cycle.
I completely understand that you probably already know that you need to lower your stress levels, easier said than done, when you are trying to falling pregnant, having to go to work, been affected by covid19, and a million other things that bombard our modern-day lives.
With Homeopathic treatment, homeopathic adrenaline can be given back to you as a homeopathic remedy, the easiest way to explain this is that it is a healthy dose of the memory of adrenaline, to remind your body what healthy adrenaline should be, this helps adrenaline come back into balance extremely quickly.
This can be done with so many of the body's neurotransmitters, such as all the fertility hormones, FSH, AMH, estrogen, progesterone, cortisol, testosterone, the list goes on... I can tell what needs to be balanced in your body, by the symptoms you present with.
When adrenaline comes back into balance, I find that my patients, make better healthier choices, are able to enforce boundaries with others that are affecting their health.
