So as you probably already know your cycle happens in two phases the follicular phase from menstruation until ovulation and the luteal phase from ovulation to menstruation.
The ideal length of a luteal phase is 12-16 days, this gives enough time for the uterine lining to thicken and the embryo to establish. If you do fall pregnant and your luteal phase is too short less than 10 days, menstruation begins before pregnancy is fully established.
A short luteal phase is caused by low progesterone.
How can you tell if your luteal phase is too short?-
- The best way is to take your temperatures each morning, then you will know exactly. - Blood tests at your doctor. 👨🔬 - Short menstrual cycle - Spotting between periods.
The causes of a short luteal phase are...- endometriosis
- PCOS - thyroid disorders - obesity - anorexia - excessive exercise
How to help a short luteal phase naturally...
- decrease stress - only do moderate exercise - a Homeopathic detox of steroids and the contraceptive pill to help hormones recover their natural balance.
I am Natasha one of the few homeopaths around the world that uses Homeopathy to detox the contraceptive pill, steroids, and many other pharmaceutical drugs.
A contraceptive detox takes place over two months. Each plan is individualised as all symptoms are taken into consideration. If you are also suffering from gut issues (very common), high stress, headaches, low mood, irritability, grief or sadness these are also prescribed for around the detox. The detox gives you a real shift, not only in your hormonal health but general health too.
