Fertile Cervical Mucus Restored After a Homeopathic Contraceptive Pill Detox
Cervical mucous we all have it! and as young women, we did not understand how important it is for our fertility.
Cervical mucus is a sign that ovulation is coming, it is egg white in colour and stretchy to touch.
Just before ovulation occurs, the increase in estrogen, causes your cervical mucus to change to nourish and transport sperm through your cervix into your uterus.
Cervical mucus that is not beneficial to fertility is called 'hostile cervical mucus.' It may be accompanied by vaginal dryness or cervical mucus, which is acidic, thick, or sticky mucous.
If you are trying to get pregnant and are not noticing your fertile cervical mucus change between day 10 - 16 of your cycle there is most likely an imbalance in your hormones.
It is most likely that you have other symptoms that indicate you have a hormonal imbalance such as absent, irregular, light or heavy periods, bad PMT, or painful periods.
Other causes of hostile cervical mucus are vaginal infections, such as candida or previous sexually transmitted disease. Previous use of pharmaceuticals such as antihistamines, steroids, the contraceptive pill, antibiotics, or fertility drugs, can also affect your cervical mucus.
There are many ways that Homeopathy can help to restore your cervical mucus, mainly by detoxing pharmaceutical drugs over two months.
One of my recent fertility patients commented that she had fertile cervical mucus, just 4 weeks into a contraceptive pill detox, which she had not had for years!
