Are you eating enough healthy fats, whilst trying to conceive?

F A T !
The thing we have been told to avoid for decades... but actually we need fat, especially for fertility.
Every organ and cell in the entire body requires fats in order to function optimally. From a fertility perspective, a variety of different fatty acids are needed to manufacture the cell membranes and hormones which become the building blocks of a healthy brain and nervous system.
Even cholesterol is necessary as a precursor to sex hormones and in the production of cell membranes.
Good fats also support the digestive system by allowing the absorption of certain fat-soluble vitamins and minerals. Vitamin D, for example, essential for ovulation, is fat-soluble, meaning you need to consume fat in order for it to be absorbed.
Being on a low-fat diet reduces levels of estrogen over a period of time.
Ton Jansen the world's most incredible Homeopath, and who have had the honor to study under 5 times, says we need 7 spoonfuls of healthy fat a day! I will be honest, I barely achieve that, but I am conscious to not be scared of fat and do take as much fat as I can each day.
Here are some ways to increase fat in your diet...
Avocados
MCT oil (this is actually tasteless)
Avocado Oil
Nuts and Seeds
Oily Fish
Eggs
Whole Organic Dairy Products
Nut Butters
